I am currently assisting the Director of International Procurement at a multinational insurance company to source a new Senior Procurement Officer working in the international sector.

If you have experience in procurement for a large organisation and a proven track record on contracts management (and ideally a history doing so in the Insurance industry), then this is the role for you.

As the Senior Procurement Officer, you will be tasked with providing an effective yet cost-efficient procurement management service across the company, engaging regularly with stakeholders to deliver on their outcomes and building the supplier and market understanding through efficient performance management. This role will require someone proactive who is always looking for ways to improve the procurement and contract processes within the business.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct collaborative procurement in order to create high value commercial outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and auditable records of all procurement processes
  • Acting as an advisor to colleagues across the firm
  • Negotiate and implement contract and framework agreements to enhance process efficiency within the firm
  • Provide support to the Procurement Officers by holding regular meetings, ensuring departmental objectives are met

In summary, this is a great opportunity to be a part of enhancing and further growing the Procurement processes at the firm. Bear in mind the above list is not exhaustive – the role will have a lot to offer to a successful candidate. Please do apply below for a more in-depth discussion on this opportunity.

Bruin recognises the positive value of diversity, and aims to promote equality and challenge unfair discrimination. As a champion of equal opportunity employment we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons – men and women, people of all ages, sexual orientations, nationalities, religions and beliefs. We particularly encourage applications from women, disabled, and Black, Asian and minority ethnic candidates as these groups are underrepresented throughout the financial services industry. Our clients work with us because they value a diverse workforce, and subscribe to our shared principle that all appointments are made on merit and that ability to perform the job will be the primary consideration.
