We are excited to be supporting a beloved British institution on the search for a Senior HR Business Partner to join their team and lead on HR initiatives across the South East region. Based primarily in their offices in Crawley, you will be responsible for driving People activity within the business, allowing you to identify new ways to deliver on a system of change and create further success within the HR unit.

As the business is looking to align itself with a new HR operating model, your role will be ensuring that the new model for HR functions will be delivered across your region, supporting of the embedding of the model and ensuring that a packed calendar of HR activities is maintained and adhered to. You will be delivering various activities related to capturing and improving a variety of HR processes, such as talent, L&D, workforce planning, and so on.  Various unions are involved within the business so there will be an additional degree of liaison with external representatives as well as other external clients.

There have been numerous interesting changes within the current setup of the business which means you will be on your feet regularly, and achievements you make in this role will be recognised well within the firm – and, considering the scope of this large matrixed organisation, such potential achievements will be particularly impressive to highlight on your career path in the future.

The right candidate must have demonstrable experience working in the HR space. They will be a convincing and charismatic orator, have the capacity to take leadership and also foresee future needs of the business and its employees to better shape the firm’s organisational structure. They will have experience working across a matrixed firm, and will have a cultural understanding to be able to offer appropriate mentorship across all key areas of the business. Finally, their experience base will come from an HR Generalist background, allowing them to understand all of the differing needs and responsibilities that a good HR team must possess.
