Reserving Analyst – Exciting New Opportunity

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Reserving Analyst to join a leading property and casualty insurance company which is also a leading commercial lines insurer in the U.S. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established company and really develop within the role. Hybrid working is on offer with a home/office split.

As a Reserving Analyst, you will support the quarterly reviews of premium, loss and expense reserves on specified lines of business, generally for the purposes of US GAAP reporting.


Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Prepares and finalises quarterly reserve analysis to present these to Management
  • Prepare Presentations on reserve review results to executive management, group actuarial department and the finance department.
  • Give to the development and management of reserving databases, applications and systems
  • Potential to support the annual reserve risk parameterisation process including analysing model results


The key skills required for the role are as follows:

  • Mathematics/Science-based degree or equivalent preferable
  • Candidate should ideally be working towards the equivalence of a fellowship from a professional actuarial body
  • Experience in an Actuarial Analysis based role
