Portfolio Manager (Birmingham) 12 Month FTC

Bruin are delighted to be partnering with a well known Financial Services organisation based in Birmingham, in their search for a Portfolio Manager to join their team for a 12 month FTC.

This role is a Senior Appointment within the Portfolio Management Team with responsibility for overseeing a Commercial portfolio, comprising long term assets: Business Acquisition Loans, Commercial Mortgages and Partner Equity Loans.

This is a portfolio stewardship role with specific responsibilities to:

1. Collate Management Information and test covenant compliance.
2. Test financial resilience and affordability across the key exposures in the portfolio.
3. Seek to repair gaps and deficiencies in facility and security documentation.
4. Maintain the portfolio data-room.
5. Establish strategies that enable customers to accelerate early settlement or re-financing

What are we looking for?

• An experienced credit risk professional, confident in your ability to analyse data and exercise good judgement.
• Possess strong credit risk analysis skills, credit risk management skills and attention to detail.
• Highly numerate and literate with the ability to interrogate and summarise information and to write clear, concise and incisive reports.
• A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, flexibility and adaptability.
• Customer-centric, striving to deliver excellence in customer service.
• Mature and resilient
