Pensions Actuarial Consultant – LGPS/ Private Sector
Location: North West or fully remote

Successful candidates will be part qualified or qualified Actuary.

The successful candidate will be working to consultant and provide solutions to both LGPS and private sector clients.
You will be working on a wide range of clients, directly with Scheme Actuaries and other specialists. 
With the numerical aspects taken care of by specialist teams this allows the consulting team you will join to focus on meeting clients’ requirements and adding value by providing solutions to client needs. 

Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing and maintaining private sector trustee relationships, including checking and reviewing of triennial valuations, annual actuarial reports, summary funding statements, factor reviews, transfer value processes and general updates on pensions regulation and legislation.

You will be required to review and check FRS/IAS accounting disclosures for private sector schemes and LGPS employers with the opportunity to expand these employer relationships to wider pension strategy work.
You will be required to support junior members of the team reviewing work and final sign-off. This opportunity could lead to managerial roles should this be the avenue successful candidates wish to navigate.

 
Requirements:

Experience working within a pensions consultancy. LGPS experience would be desirable but not essential.

Making progress with actuarial exams or having complete actuarial exams.

Consultative experience.
