Working at a lead Independent broking house you will assist the Head of Central Ops in the role of Operations Manager.

In this position you will be responsible for ensuring the department provides an efficient and effective Technical Processing service to the business whilst adhering to Regulatory, Risk and Compliance requirements.

Coming from a similar Ops / Technical background it would be advantageous that you have already gained management experience to a team of technical / processing individuals.

Key responsibilities:-

• Assess incoming processing requests for completeness and assign them to team members as appropriate.

• Ensure Contract Load and Premium processing requests are completed accurately on Sequel Eclipse Broking within the Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) agreed with the business.

• Ensure accurate and complete client and market documentation is produced.

• Manage the expectations of clients, underwriters and business units and ensure appropriate Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) are in place.

• Monitor and improve the department’s processes & procedures.

• Identify control weaknesses and risks faced by the department and ensure they are remediated in a timely and effective manner.

• Assist and guide team members with technical processing issues.

• Support the Head of Central Operations in adhering to financial reporting requirements including monthly phasing of income and contribute to the budgeting process as required.

• Assist with ad-hoc projects as and when required.

• Manage auditor expectations by liaising with auditors and providing information to resolve any queries.
