Operations Analyst – Real Estate

Reports To: Operations Manager

 

Role Summary:

 

In the role you will be providing operational support and analysis for a leading asset manager, ensuring the smooth running of business functions across the operational teams. The ideal candidate will be required to work accurately, and conscientiously in a rapidly developing office environment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Reconciling large volumes of property and customer data, analysing and updating the database.
  • Providing operational support to team members across the business on a daily basis.
  • Producing database and Excel reporting, preparing analysis to a high standard of accuracy, within tight timescales.
  • Ensuring key projects are delivered to plan.
  • Updating database with accurate information as appropriate, working to deadlines.
  • Reviewing and extracting information from multiple sources including property leases, HM Land Registry and public databases.
  • Providing database, HM Land Registry and various website and procedural training for team members.
  • Reviewing procedures, making recommendations for improvements and developing and implementing business processes.
  • Reviewing leases and property title documents and completing due diligence for property acquisitions, general homeowner, solicitor or third-party queries and projects.

 

Professional qualifications, knowledge and experience:

 

  • Educated to degree level or similar qualification.
  • Previous experience in an administrative data handling or data analysis role preferred.
  • Experience in contract or property law desirable.
  • Good MS Excel skills are essential.
  • Ability in problem analysis, troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Able to communicate effectively and interact with a diverse range of personalities and roles both internally and externally.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment.
