As an HR Administrator, the thing that gets you most excited about your day-to-day is knowing there’s always something to do – looking after various processes, supporting a variety of stakeholders within the business with your operational skills, and making sure the business is running at full speed. If you’re feeling it’s time for you to take your HR prowess to a new business, then I have the role for you! Our client is a CFD Broker looking for an HR admin with the ability to support on all things HR in their new London offices to ensure all ongoing administrative tasks in the business are handled with a high level of vigour.

This organisation has recently begun building up its London operations, and it is as a result seeking someone who is able to take a standalone HR role whilst reporting into senior HR across their offices in APAC. As they continue to grow in size, what will be particularly beneficial in this role is having an administrator with an excellent understanding of the FCA’s regulations as well as what is required for background checking vis-à-vis SMCR.

Your position will include:


  • Taking on a full generalist role for the firm, including onboarding, HR queries and so on
  • Supporting on the firm’s HRIS, entering data on employees and ER cases
  • Triaging queries from colleagues across the London office and supporting them to act in line with Company policy
  • General office administration for the London office, including organising different events and client entertaining
  • Assisting in ad hoc projects as well as required (such as answering HR queries on behalf of the team, co-ordinating onboarding etc)

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in a relevant HR space either through administrative or secretarial support. This experience will ideally come from Financial Services or the Professional Services. They will have a keen analytical eye, able to spot improvements in processes and highlight them to the team, with a high attention to detail. They should ideally understand UK regulations as they pertain to the Financial Services.
