Bruin are proud to be supporting a Global Financial Services organisation in their search for a Senior Manager to head up their Regulatory Oversight team.
This role will be responsible for setting strategic direction for EMEA Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting (NFRR) and executing against a robust end-to-end Compliance framework, establishing standards and processes, including quality control processes and metrics to demonstrate adherence against completeness, accuracy and timeliness expectations. This includes all aspects of material risk related to how the business develops, launches, sells and processes products and services to ensure regulatory compliance around the globe.
The successful applicant must have strong experience in regulatory reporting with a focus on EMEA regulatory reporting preferred, will be able to demonstrate the ability to understand and assess complex regulatory interpretation for Securities and Derivatives, Global Markets, and / or Global Banking General experience working in a legal or compliance environment in institutional banking & markets, custodial services, understanding of banking & markets businesses, trading, products and instrument lifecycles. Ability to effectively manage day-to-day interactions and relationships with a diverse group of colleagues in the front office and control functions. Ability to work with data, generate metrics and presentation materials to colleagues and leadership on findings and observations, taking accountably and ownership to drive remediation in an expedient fashion. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate complicated issues succinctly and pointedly, organized with exceptional clarity while influencing outcomes.
