We are supporting our client, a Lloyd’s specialist Insurance Broker, in their search for a legal and technical claims handler to join the business in their amazing London offices on a full-time, flexible hybrid basis. You will be utilising your experience from a legal background to cover matters across a variety of areas. As a legal & technical claims handler, you will be responsible for assisting on more complex claims and matters.
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the legal and technical support and supporting the broader placing team.
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting the development of the team by supporting on policy wordings, drafting and negotiating solutions to clients/brokers issues.
- Ensuring various claims and settlements are dealt with effectively and efficiently
- Evaluating and working with the team on new business including technical analysis to supplement market information.
- Taking on any other ad-hoc requirements needed by the business to support the Claims side
The right candidate for this role will have an understanding of the Lloyd’s markets, as this is necessary to successfully process and manage the Claims-related elements of the role. The ideal candidate will be a junior law graduate who is looking to pursue a career in the insurance market.
