Institutional Sales Manager

We are excited to be partnering with a leading global asset manager who is looking to hire a UK Institutional Sales Manager to their London team. This is a great opportunity to collaborate with the Head of UK Institutional Business to take a leading role in the development of the UK insurance business.

Responsibilities in this role will include:

• Build and implement a business development plan to grow the UK insurance business.
• Manage the existing UK insurance book of business and work on cross-selling opportunities
• Specifically reinforce the firm’s positioning with Lloyds syndicates and develop new franchises with P&C and Life Assurance companies
• Work with the Head of UK Institutional business to manage a portfolio of prospective new business prospects
• Target and represent the company’s strategies and expertise such as Fixed Income and Private Markets.
• Work with the marketing team to increase branding in the UK insurance space.

To be a good fit for the role, you will ideally need:

• Institutional sales experience in the asset management industry
• Entrepreneurial mind-set with the ability to bring new ideas
• Vision for strategy and how to develop the client book
• Strong knowledge of the UK institutional market
• Insurance sales experience is desired
