Bruin Financial

My client is an established Asset Management group seeking a talented Personal Assistant to join them in their HR Department. This will undoubtedly be a great opportunity for a Personal Assistant in the Financial Services sector looking for a new team to support with their excellent skillset.

As the HR Personal Assistant, your tasks will run the gamut of the usual secretarial fare – diary management, day-to-day office support, and ad-hoc tasks to support the team as need be. You will also aid in additional fields, such as the recruitment processes (with particular attention to onboarding new employees). In addition, your knowledge will be treated with respect in this firm, as they are looking for a PA who is unafraid to point out where working methods and processes can do with improvements.

Some additional responsibilities within this role:

  • Being the main point of contact for day-to-day enquiries
  • Supporting the HR Director, as well as the broader HR team and other senior leaders as and when necessary
  • Arranging interviews and effectively onboarding new employees (including IT set-up, introductory meetings, and training)
  • Achieving with minimum supervision

The right candidate for this position will have a proven track record in their PA career, and such track record will preferably come from the Financial Services space; or, at a minimum, from the Professional Services. They will be an adaptable and fastidious professional, paying attention to the finest details and working to establish excellent relationships with colleagues across the organisation. Their multi-tasking skills will be second-to-none, and must be at least adept in operating software packages such as Microsoft Office.

As such, this is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join a recognised Financial Services firm and be a part of a new HR team. Our client is seeking candidates as soon as possible, so if you are looking for a move, there is no better time than the present!

Bruin recognises the positive value of diversity, and aims to promote equality and challenge unfair discrimination. As a champion of equal opportunity employment we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons – men and women, people of all ages, sexual orientations, nationalities, religions and beliefs. We particularly encourage applications from women, disabled, and Black, Asian and minority ethnic candidates as these groups are underrepresented throughout the financial services industry. Our clients work with us because they value a diverse workforce, and subscribe to our shared principle that all appointments are made on merit and that ability to perform the job will be the primary consideration.
