HR Advisor – Scotland

This latest opportunity on our desk is for an HR Advisor to join a reputable Financial Consultancy firm based in Scotland (either out of their Glasgow or Edinburgh office) providing key advice and support to the HR Business Partners. Working to tight deadlines whilst effectively prioritising on the most pressing tasks, you will be able to find exciting new ways for the HR function to grow, identifying improvement points as needed. This is a highly progressive role if you are looking to take your next step in your HR journey, whilst working in the office only two days a week!

 

In your day-to-day, your ability to gather relevant data and information on all areas of HR will fuel your decision-making and ability to pre-empt challenges in the department. Liaising with key stakeholders and ensuring short-term projects within the business are all ticking along smoothly, as well as tackling any issues emergent within the overall HR team’s goals, will form a major core of your work within the department. You will be happy to share your opinions as the firm is always open to new ideas!

 

Some of your day-to-days will include:

 

  • Creating regular reports for the HR team, as well interpreting data
  • Supporting Cyclical processes including salary and bonus reviews
  • Assisting with the recruitment, and ensuring the operation of key processes including onboarding and offboarding are running smoothly.
  • Utilising your awareness of legislation to ensure the business is compliant
  • Managing the business’s in-house HR system
