We are supporting our client, one of the biggest Insurance names globally, in their search for a talented HR Advisor to join their business. Sitting underneath the Region Lead for HR and the wider HR BP team, your role here will see you supporting on various HR initiatives and projects as required. This position is certain to evolve over time as well, expanding in exciting ways as the business itself grows.
You will be working closely with the HR BPs and other regional members of the HR team in order to provide advice on a variety of HR queries, and to lend your expertise to line managers and other stakeholders on best practice with regards to HR. Other areas you as the successful candidate will be involved in could include:
- Supporting in evolving new HR initiatives, partnering with the centres of excellence to do so
- Participating in a variety of HR projects in tandem with the HRBPs
- Serving as a changemaker and point-of-contact for employees seeking further information on developments within the business’s HR processes
- Engaging in case management support in tandem with the Employee Relations Team
- Partnering with business managers to provide 1-to-1 coaching for current and up-and-coming individuals within the business
The right candidate must have evidence of a degree, and preferably can demonstrate membership of a professional institution (such as CIPD). They will be a convincing and charismatic orator, have the capacity to take leadership and also foresee future needs of the business and its employees to better shape the firm's organisational structure. They will have experience working internationally with other offices, and will have a cultural understanding to be able to offer appropriate mentorship across all key areas of the business. Finally, their experience base will come from an HR Generalist background, allowing them to understand all of the differing needs and responsibilities that a good HR team must possess. As a highly visible member of the global HR team, you will be someone who, ideally, has worked in a similar role within a similar Financial Services environment.
