I am currently recruiting for an Employee Benefits Account Manager working across Group Healthcare Policies in London. Hybrid working is available with 1 – 2 days office the rest working from home.

 

You will be providing support to Consultants of all grades, in the administration of their clients’ healthcare schemes. The role will involve updating internal systems with progress of the various stages of scheme renewals, maintaining Excel spreadsheet records, and potentially manipulating data and providing reports to clients.

 

Daily responsibilities will include;

•            Building a robust system for ensuring appropriate management of scheme administration tasks including proactive follow up with clients and insurers, keeping your consultant appraised at all times.

•            Ensuring that healthcare scheme renewal communications are issued to clients in a timely and accurate manner that is in line with team procedures.

•            Data gathering , inputting, analysing and manipulation.

•            Obtaining new business quotations & supporting in delivery of the market review process.

•            Administrating membership e.g. scheme joiners, leavers, premium invoicing and other general administration queries.

•            Maintaining and updating the platform as well as online filing system for emails, data and reports

•            Answering telephones promptly and dealing with queries.

•            Attending client meetings where required

 

The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge and understanding of group healthcare policies, primarily UK PMI, Dental schemes, Cash Plans and Travel schemes.  Knowledge of other employee benefits would be beneficial. Experience of working with an Employee Benefits Consultancy or with an Insurance Provider is preferred but not essential.

 

There will be client contact involved at this level as well as insurance provider contact. As this role will take instructions from various team members on a daily basis, being well organised is an essential skill.
