I am working on behalf of a leading global data firm looking to expand their sales capability in Europe. The purpose of this position is selling market data products and services to corporate companies. This role can be based in any major European city as this opportunity is covering the entirety of Europe with an expectation to travel.
The key responsibilities of this position are:
- Work with the existing client base across Europe to upsell products and services
- Proactively reach out to new clients
- Work collaboratively with other internal stakeholders and teams
- Travel the continent and conduct introductory meetings and pitches for new business
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong experience in a sales environment
- Understanding the markets surrounding Electricity, Gas, Coal, Oil Products, Tankers
- Fluency in a European language as well as English
- Willingness to travel
