We are currently recruiting for a Bid Manager to join a prestigious Lloyd's Broking house who are experiencing unprecedented change and growth.

Due to these exciting times this role will offer the successful candidate a genuine opportunity to offer ideas on process and ultimately play a lead role in the re shape the team and the way it operates.

In this role you will work with a small team of specialists with a purpose to support all business units (all Marine and Non-Marine classes) in delivering bid management and sales expertise to achieve business retention and growth.

As well as current Bid Managers from the Insurance market, experience of managing a Bid / Tender process is key therefore individuals from other industries such as Life & Pensions, Financial Services, Health and Safety & Construction etc… are encouraged to apply.

Utilising your Technical or Sales knowledge to date within your market you will enjoy project-based work, delivering results to set time scales and collaborating with key stakeholders.

You will :-

  • Understand key requirements of an RFP including words and meanings
  • Undertake research on clients and prospects to understand the unique value proposition
  • Be able to identify and translate unique USP’s to the end client – why stay / be with us ?
  • Draft, produce and review key documentation

Aside from current Bid Managers we would encourage professionals such as Account Handlers, Account Exec’s, Brokers, Underwriters, Underwriting Assistants, Wording’s individuals, and the like to apply.
