Associate Pensions and Employee Benefits Consultant

Bruin Financial

Ref: 29042

We are overseeing an exciting opportunity for someone seeking to progress their DC Consulting career.

We are working with a major brand who are investing in growing their DC and Employee Benefits practice across the UK.  The practice is similar to a small business environment, but advises a range of clients from large, global brands to SMEs.

They are seeking to add further capability to their team, ideally someone seeking to further their career in the Consulting market and be supported to lead on their own client portfolio.

The role will predominantly focus on DC pensions, but will offer the opportunity to work on wider employee benefits advice as well if desired.

Given the nature of the business and the team set-up, this would be a great opportunity for those wanting a flatter working environment, with the chance to be a key part of the team and have more scope of influence and chance to contribute.  In turn, the role would offer a clear route to progression, with the growth of the business also providing a lot of opportunity to develop your career and move forward.

The role can be based across the UK, offering a blend of home and office working.

Key requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience working within the DC/DC Consulting market
  • Suitable client facing skills with a view to managing your own client portfolio
  • Studying towards the APMI qualification or suitable equivalent

Bruin recognises the positive value of diversity, and aims to promote equality and challenge unfair discrimination. As a champion of equal opportunity employment we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons – men and women, people of all ages, sexual orientations, nationalities, religions and beliefs. We particularly encourage applications from women, disabled, and Black, Asian and minority ethnic candidates as these groups are underrepresented throughout the financial services industry. Our clients work with us because they value a diverse workforce, and subscribe to our shared principle that all appointments are made on merit and that ability to perform the job will be the primary consideration.
