The Role and Company

Bruin are working on an exclusive basis with our client, a growing and dynamic boutique Asset Manager located in Marylebone to search for an Investment/Asset Management Analyst.

The asset management branch serves as a multi-family office, offering portfolio allocation and discretionary management services to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients. The client also works as a capital placement agent, sourcing, structuring, and syndicating debt and equity for a wide range of businesses and applications.

The Client invests globally in both credit and equities, with a focus on high yield corporate credit, where the company has created a solid knowledge base as well as a network inside the high yield market. The investment strategy is bottom-up with top-down macro trends.

Responsibilities

This role is offering invaluable exposure to the front and middle office of an investment manager and also offers the opportunity to step up quickly within that business. You would be in charge of assisting the CEO with portfolio management and providing operational assistance. Your primary tasks will be to perform research on specific firms and industries across credit and equities, to maintain the portfolio management system, and to execute and settle deals. You will also be producing presentations and assisting with the onboarding of new clients.

The ideal Candidate Must:

• Based in London and eligible to work in the UK
• Prepared with strong organisation skills
• At least 1 years of experience at a large organisation – Investment/ Asset or Wealth Management, Investment Banking, Investment Consulting
• Microsoft Office proficient (proficient in excel)
• Able to build an LBO model and business plan from scratch
• Problem solver with the ability to think creatively
