We are currently recruiting for a leading, global asset management firm across a full range of asset classes and actively managing over $1 trillion worth of assets. They are looking to recruit an Alternatives Product Marketing Manager to execute and develop investment content and marketing programs across a broad range of products and services in support of their global marketing function.


Key responsibilities:


  • Responsibility for the creation and execution of scalable marketing strategies and tactics globally, including day-to-day project management for product marketing campaigns
  • Developing marketing strategies in support of the overall marketing efforts of the firms alternatives brand and related investment solutions
  • Coordinating with global colleagues across channels, including with stakeholders in product management, compliance, client management, technology and all other marketing departments
  • Designing and executing promotional strategies for marketing materials such as sales collateral, videos, thought leadership papers and webcasts
  • Managing the production of product marketing materials across an integrated communications platform
  • Collating and analyzing KPI’s and metrics for marketing activities, including the preparation of reports to stakeholders and making recommendations on the findings
  • Coordinating with global colleagues to ensure consistency of messaging
  • Keeping up to date with industry and competitor best practice and making necessary recommendations


Key skills:


  • 4 years’ experience in financial services, preferably focused on product marketing
  • Bachelors degree in business/finance, economics or marketing/communications (or relevant industry experience)
  • Proven expertise in marketing with a preference for content creation, digital marketing and managing integrated campaigns
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, as well as experience with the Adobe platform
  • Strong background and/or interest in economics and financial markets, with a strong desire to learn the companies products
  • Experience in marketing alternative products or knowledge of alternative investments would be a bonus
  • Familiarity with CMS and technology systems such as Box, Google Analytics or Smartsheet is preferred
  • MBA, CFA or progress toward either/both is desirable
