We are proud to support our client, a lead Independent Lloyd’s Insurance Broker, in their search for a Marine Account Handler with a focus on North American business to join their award winning firm. Supporting the business’s focus on Wholesale North American, you will be supporting with various marine insurance coverages, such as:
- Hull & Machinery
- Builder’s Risk
- Protection & Indemnity
- Marine liabilities such as Marine General Liability or Maritime Employer’s Liability
This is an exciting, permanent opportunity within a hybrid-working business, in which you will be co-ordinating the placement of risks in order to ensure maintenance throughout the whole risk lifecycle.
You will be developing an active relationship with various clients, underwriters and market representatives in order to ensure the ongoing success of the team, as well as maintaining your own knowledge of the regulatory landscape to ensure you are always providing excellent service as well as complying with the Business’s processes and procedures.
Some responsibilities will include:
- Managing various clients and policies related to their dealings with the business
- Developing a strong rapport with various clients in order to ensure all their needs are met
- Ensuring accounts are serviced efficiently through regular liaison with various brokers
The ideal candidate for this role will have prior Account Handling or Technical experience within the Insurance market, as well as an ability to utilise various software packages with ease. You will need to have a thorough understanding of regulations and methods, as well as a keen eye for detail and meticulous organisational skills. You must be proactive in their work, able to work without regular supervision and seeking new ways in which to deliver an ever-improving service.
