Are you an experienced Account Executive, with a strong understanding of the London market and Financial Lines generally? Are you looking to move into a portfolio managing role? This role will see you in a client-facing role, managing the International Financial Lines business. These accounts for the firm are often high value yet complex, and as such you will be regularly leaning on your own experience of the Market to support in negotiating and influencing important targets. This is not a broking opportunity – what you’ll be doing is ensuring that the relationships the business has with many exciting clients in the market are kept, maintained, and grown further. You will be actively ensuring that clients and the firm’s brokers are operating in lockstep, supporting them as well as other internal and external stakeholders.
Some responsibilities will include:
- Managing and handling the existing portfolio of FI business
- Actively working with relevant markets in order to build and evolve relationships with key clients
- Input to the development of new products (and marketing materials) to ensure these are appropriate to requirements of potential clients and territories
- Act as a key liaison between clients and brokers where appropriate to ensure requirements are fully understood and best met through the provision of suitable cover, appropriate pricing and efficient servicing
- Provide feedback on specific market/product area to inform business and product development strategies
The right person for this role will have demonstrable experience in the Financial Lines space, or alternatively Underwriting experience. They will understand working within an Insurance and client-facing workplace, with knowledge of Directors & Officers Liability (D&O), Professional Indemnity (PI) and other similar products. They must be charismatic yet methodical in everything they do, with a keen eye for detail.
