Ref: 40262
We are partnering with a fantastic Emerging Markets asset management firm who are looking to hire an experienced RFP professional who is keen to take ownership over the RFP and Content Management processes for the firm. By joining the business at an exciting time in their business history, the chance to implement AI to the proposal process, process improvement and RFP analytics, this person must be a driven and proactive individual looking to make positive change for the business

The Opportunity
As the Head of RFPs, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high-quality, strategic RFP submissions that support global business development efforts. You will take ownership of content management, ensure best-in-class proposal responses, and drive continuous improvement in the RFP process.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced RFP writer or team leader who thrives in a high-performance environment and is eager to make a tangible impact. While this role does not involve direct reports, you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure consistency and excellence in all RFP outputs.

The successful candidate will be involved in:

  • Oversee and enhance the firm’s global RFP processes, ensuring efficiency and quality.
  • Manage and optimise content within the RFP database (Qvidian).
  • Lead on complex, high-profile RFPs and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs).
  • Allocate and track RFP requests, ensuring timely submission and quality control.
  • Analyse RFP trends and provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Oversee the population of industry databases such as eVestment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine processes and improve operational efficiencies.
  • Provide limited client service responsibilities (approximately 25% of the role).

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Asset management experience, with a strong background in RFP writing and content management.
  • A deep understanding of active investment processes and financial products.
  • Exceptional writing, editorial, and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with a keen eye for process improvement.
