Ref: 39635
We are working on behalf of a well-established financial institution which specialises in a wide array of investment products and services. Known for its dependable returns and steadfast dedication to responsible and sustainable investing, it offers a complete set of customised investment solutions. With a global presence and a strong array of asset classes available to investors, it serves as a reliable partner for those looking to grow and safeguard their wealth ethically and responsibly.

In this pivotal position, you’ll play a key role in elevating the private markets capabilities of a globally recognised asset manager. With a focus on capital raising across institutional and wholesale (professional) channels, you'll design and deliver targeted, integrated marketing campaigns that make a real impact. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you’ll lead a cross-functional ‘virtual’ marketing team, ensuring alignment with distribution priorities, investment goals, and sustainability-focused business growth. This role offers a reach working across multiple continents and geographies.

The successful candidate will be involved in:

  • Strategic Leadership: Partner with senior stakeholders across Private Markets, Distribution, Investment, and Product teams to develop and deliver marketing strategies that drive fundraising and brand visibility.
  • Integrated Campaigns: Lead and coordinate a multi-disciplinary marketing team to execute impactful campaigns across digital, content, PR, events, and brand initiatives.
  • Sales Enablement: Develop and manage high-quality product enablement materials, including brochures, presentations, and website content, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives.
  • Thought Leadership: Oversee the creation of thought leadership pieces, fund updates, webinars, and client communications, establishing the business as a market leader in private markets.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage KPIs, insights, and marketing analytics to optimise campaign performance and align activities with measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure all marketing materials meet regulatory, compliance, and Consumer Duty standards, delivering clear, fair, and accurate information to clients.
  • Competitor Analysis: Benchmark marketing activities against competitors, staying ahead of market trends and identifying innovative opportunities for differentiation.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in private markets marketing, with a deep understanding of investment strategies and client needs across institutional and wholesale channels.
  • Expertise in delivering integrated marketing strategies across digital and traditional channels.
  • Familiarity with marketing technologies, data analytics, and customer acquisition techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements for marketing in financial services.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and driving measurable commercial impact.
  • A proactive, innovative mindset with a track record of identifying and implementing improvements.
