Underwriting Governance and Controls Analyst

In this pivotal role, you'll support the Underwriting Governance and Controls team, ensuring meticulous oversight and compliance across all underwriting processes. Your responsibilities will span:
- Maintaining and updating critical documentation such as Service Company Agreements, Underwriting Guidelines, and Authorities.
- Managing oversight processes including File Review, Peer Review, and Pre-Bind Quality Assurance to ensure full compliance with governance frameworks.
- Documenting and monitoring underwriting exceptions and breaches, tracking actions to resolution, and generating insightful reports to inform decision-making.
- Assisting in the development of governance policies and regulatory communications.
What You’ll Need:
- A foundational understanding of insurance or underwriting processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with exposure to tools like Salesforce, Decision Focus, or PowerBI being advantageous.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a passion for collaboration, enabling you to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders across all levels.
