About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced International Reinsurance Purchasing Technician to join the Ceded Reinsurance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will assist in the procurement and placement of international reinsurance programs, working closely with internal teams and brokers to ensure timely execution, accuracy, and compliance. You will help manage multiple reinsurance placements across various product lines and support the development of reinsurance strategies aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing international reinsurance placements across multiple product lines.
- Collaborate with underwriting leadership to understand product needs and reinsurance strategy.
- Build strong relationships with reinsurance brokers and internal data owners.
- Support the management of placement timelines, ensuring timely submissions and signings.
- Work with the Ceded Data & Analytics team to ensure accurate submission data.
- Communicate post-placement treaty terms to internal teams and legal entities.
What You Will Bring:
- Strong understanding of insurance and reinsurance concepts.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and analytical skills.
- Ability to problem-solve with limited support on ambiguous requests.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
- You must be able to start within a months notice
