We are working closely with our client, a well-regarded Asset Manager based in London, to source their next HR Assistant. This role sitting within the firm’s HR generalist team is one well suited to someone with some prior experience in an HR Administrator or similar Operations role, and particularly if that individual is looking to move into a fantastic business within the Financial Services.
Your remit in this role will involve supporting any assisting HR Business Partner and Junior HR Business Partner colleagues in a variety of manners. You will be involved with the onboarding and screening of candidates within the business, processing HR information applicable to employees across their lifecycle using the firm’s HRIS, and reporting from that HRIS to provide meaningful MI for senior managers to work with. Joining a strong team keen on developing their employees’ careers and strengths, you will be able to bring your own growing knowledge in the field of HR Administration and take it to the next level.
Responsibilities include:
- Keeping the HR knowledgebase up-to-date, liaising with employees on any queries as necessary
- Maintaining relevant payroll processes, liaising with different benefit accounts, and cascading appropriate queries to the right contacts
- Understanding SMCR, supporting the firm in recording necessary changes according to FCA requirements
- Gathering additional data for the purposes of MI Reporting
The right candidate could be any individual who is hungry to enter an HR department in London and take their career to the next level. They must have excellent attention to detail in everything they do, and an ability to quickly adapt to new IT systems. They will be a fantastic communicator and able to liaise with their team and will have prior HR Administration experience in order to accomplish this.
