Broking Operations Manager

Our client is a Global Insurance Broker with offices right in the heart of the City of London, and they are looking for a technical insurance professional. You will be managing a team of 5 technicians, focusing on various classes of business such as E&O and D&O.
As a permanent opportunity within a steadily growing business, you will be handling the production of contract documentation such as MRC Slips and endorsements in accordance to their standards and requirements. This role will give you an exposure to a wide range of lines of businesses, across the wholesale non marine broking divisions.
Some responsibilities will include:
- Handling International lines of business, working closely with brokers to review renewals and support the renewal process.
- Creating comprehensive broking documents and recording these onto the firm’s systems
- Serving as first point-of-contact for a portfolio of insured business, handling queries and renewals
The right candidate for this role must have experience working in a technical role. They will have a strong understanding of the various technology systems in the London Markets, such as PPL. They must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; and will understand how to best manage complicated situations as and when they arise.
