Are you an experienced events professional with a passion for crafting exceptional event experiences? We have an exciting opportunity with our esteemed investment management client for a role in their EMEA and Latin America marketing team. This team is at the forefront of building brand recognition, product awareness, and driving sales within the financial sector across various market segments through events engagement.
Your Role:
- Collaborate with the Events team to plan and execute a diverse range of events and webcasts across EMEA and Latin America, ensuring alignment with business objectives, product priorities, and market trends.
- Take ownership of managing physical, hybrid, and virtual events and webcasts, from conception through to post-event evaluation.
- Partner closely with channel marketing managers and regional sales teams to implement the events strategy regionally while adhering to allocated budgets.
- Maintain rigorous event processes, ensuring precise delivery and reporting, and suggesting efficiency improvements where necessary.
- Identify key success metrics and diligently monitor the success of events and webcasts against these benchmarks.
- Maintain a comprehensive calendar of all events and webcasts, aligning sales objectives with planned events.
- Develop dedicated events microsites, email communications, advertising materials, and custom styling consistent with brand guidelines.
- Oversee the commission and supply of relevant promotional giveaways to support event activities throughout the year.
- Collaborate with compliance to ensure all events adhere to regulatory guidelines and that assets are compliant and timely.
- Liaise with external agencies and suppliers as needed.
- Leverage industry expertise to find innovative ways to engage with their audience, share knowledge, and enhance the client experience.
- Contribute to the delivery of quarterly, monthly, and ad hoc reports and presentations as requested by Wholesale and Institutional Channel Heads, Channel Marketers, and Sales.
- Prioritise client satisfaction, ensuring a seamless, engaging, and informative client experience.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the company's product offerings, financial promotions/literature principles, processes, and compliance guidance. Adhere to appropriate checks and sign-off procedures.
- Travel as needed within the UK, Europe, and North America.
- Fulfill any other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Previous events experience within the investment management industry
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
- Extensive experience in events management, including the development, implementation, and management of events and related activities.
- Effective influencing skills, with a balanced, diplomatic, and assertive approach.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
- Experience with virtual event platforms and video conferencing software.
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
