Our client is a Global Insurance Broker with offices right in the heart of the City of London, and they are looking for a technical insurance professional. You will be able to support the brokers, underwriters and servicing clients, as the team continue to acquire new clients as well as servicing existing business to ensure a best-in-class client experience.
As a permanent opportunity within a steadily growing business, you will be handling the production of contract documentation such as MRC Slips and endorsements in accordance to their standards and requirements. This role will give you an exposure to a wide range of lines of businesses, across the wholesale non marine broking divisions. Working alongside a busy team, you will know from experience the importance of ensuring an auditable record throughout everything you do, as well as how to handle the operational side by logging details regularly into the business’s Brokerage systems such as PPL and Lloyd’s QA Tool.
Some responsibilities will include:
- Handling International lines of business, working closely with brokers to review renewals and support the renewal process.
- Creating comprehensive broking documents and recording these onto the firm’s systems
- Serving as first point-of-contact for a portfolio of insured business, handling queries and renewals
The right candidate for this role must have experience working in a technical role. They will have a strong understanding of the various technology systems in the London Markets, such as PPL. They must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; and will understand how to best manage complicated situations as and when they arise.
