Senior Compliance Manager

We are working with an Abu Dhabi-based Investment institution in their search for a Senior Compliance Manager. As an integral part of the compliance team you will act as a subject matter expert on Abu Dhabi financial regulatory matters and advise and assist the company. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years’ experience in a financial services compliance role or similar role specific to implementing or auditing regulatory guidelines. The candidate must already reside and have worked in Abu Dhabi (UAE) to qualify for this role.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist with and implement the Compliance Training Plan and Annual Compliance Plan.
• Revise policies and procedures in accordance with changing guidelines
• Investigate AML and KYC requests.
• Contribute to and oversee the compliance monitoring programme.
• Assist and complete regulatory filings
• Potential for direct reports and managing juniors
• Ability to deputise for the Head of Compliance.

Your experience:

• 8-10 years in Compliance or similar (audit or legal)
• Professional qualifications in Compliance to show CPD
• Good knowledge of UAE financial regulations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Initiative and experience with investment products.
• Abu Dhabi resident.
