We are working with a leading development finance institution to hire an Analyst for their Investment Team to be based in their Singapore office.

Our client has built an excellent reputation, providing financing for infrastructure development projects in emerging markets. Their key goal is to have a positive impact in the markets they invest into and with the financial backing of several prominent institutions, they have built an impressive portfolio of deals and are continuing to regularly invest across all asset classes including power, renewable energy and social infrastructure to name a few.

As the business continues to regularly invest and grow, the need has arisen to hire an Analyst for the Investment Team to support in the origination, execution and management of the portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for a junior project finance professional to be involved in the full deal cycle and contribute to the growing portfolio of infrastructure assets.

The Analyst will:

  • Assist senior members of the Investment Team in the origination and execution of project financing deals in South and Southeast Asia
  • Perform due diligence, financial modelling and credit analysis for deals on a regular basis
  • Be involved in credit risk assessment and preparation of the credit papers
  • Support the Investment Team with preparing and presenting credit proposals to the Credit Committee
  • Assist Portfolio Management team in monitoring and reporting on the performance of transactions

Interested candidates must:

  • Be currently sitting in an Analyst/Junior Associate in the Project or Infrastructure Finance Team of a bank, fund or advisory firm
  • Have a strong skill set including financial modelling and credit analysis
  • Demonstrate good understanding of the infrastructure/ project finance deal process.
  • Have a good understanding of the infrastructure market
  • Hold a business, finance or related degree from a highly regarded university
  • Possess strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Be highly motivated to join a development finance institution and wanting to make a positive impact
  • Have an interest in emerging or frontier markets
