MI and Planning Analyst

Bruin are proud to be working with a well known Retail Bank in their search for an MI and Planning Analyst to join their existing team.

In this role, we are looking for a part, or fully ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant, with a strong knowledge of IFRS reporting standards, top notch modelling and analytical skills and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships at all levels.

Key accountabilities include:

• Production of month end reporting including analysis of results and understanding of drivers. Explain variances against Budget, Forecast and Prior Month
• Production of monthly management review packs and provision of business focused management information
• Providing business partner support to stakeholders in understanding performance of the business and completion of adhoc and project activity
• Production of monthly forecast and annual budget submissions, seeking feedback from the Business Units and challenging assumptions used. Development of forecasting models reflective of business drivers • Ensuring that all financial aspects of results are produced in accordance with appropriate financial controls and accounting convention
• Work with commercial / business teams to identify opportunities to improve financial performance
• Identification and implementation of process improvements to drive increased efficiency within the Finance function.
• Provide support for any regulatory requirements
