2016 H1 Review
The year so far has been tumultuous, in every sense of the word; confused and volatile, and yet enlivened and animated.
The start of the year saw signs of a welcome stabilizing effect across the global economy, resulting in an increase in client hiring activity, particularly in asset management and across the UK & Irish financial services hub cities – with Chester, Manchester and Dublin key areas of focus for many of our clients.
However, the results of the late June referendum unleashed yet more uncertainty, now likely to last months before clarity on the outcome is reached.
But history has taught us that the UK financial services sector is resilient and adaptable to change, with demand now starting to once again pick up across the sector.
In addition to supporting our clients from a hiring perspective as the market improves, BRUIN has provided a range of value-add initiatives, of which a selection from the last few months are enclosed and we hope are of interest.
