BRUIN Financial “Women in Financial Institutions” (WiFI) Index:
Q2 2019 WiFI Index: 104
The data for the Q2 2019 BRUIN Financial Women in Financial Institutions Index (WiFI) was comprised from more than 2,500 workers in financial services to record an average WiFI Index score of 104.
The result overall continues to maintain an upward trend, however it appears that a challenging market driven by climate of uncertainty may have had a gendered impact.
- 6 point YoY decrease in the WiFI Index indicates the engagement and recruitment of women in financial service has declined by comparison to the last 12 months.
- The gender pay gap for candidates placed by BRUIN has narrowed to 4% by comparison year on year.
- The proportion of women securing a job offer has declined YoY, which reflects a similar decrease in the number of women who are being invited for interview.
