The data for the 2018 BRUIN Financial Women in Financial Institutions Index (WiFI) was comprised from more than 2,500 workers in financial services to record a WiFI Index score of 109.
The results reflect a positive indicator for women in financial services over the last 12 months.
- 6 point YoY decrease in the WiFI Index indicates the engagement and recruitment of women in financial service has declined by comparison to the last 12 months.
- The gender pay gap has widened by comparison year on year, with men still paid on average over 16% more than women in financial services.
- The proportion of women securing a job offer has decreased YoY, but women are securing greater pay increases when moving roles.
