2017 WiFI Index: 115
The data for the 2017 BRUIN Financial Women in Financial Institutions Index (WiFI) was comprised from more than 2,500 workers in financial services to record a WiFI Index score of 115.
The results reflect a positive indicator for women in financial services over the last 12 months.
Key Highlights:
- WiFI Index shows a +10 point increase, indicating the engagement and recruitment of women in financial services has significantly improved in the last 12 months
- Men are still paid on average 16% more than women in financial services
- The proportion of women securing a job offer has decreased YoY, but the average salary increase achieved by comparison to men is over 20%
