October 2016 WiFI Index: 98
For the October 2016 BRUIN Financial Women in Financial Institutions Index (WiFI), data was comprised from more than 2,500 workers in financial services to record a WiFI Index score of 98.
Key Highlights:
- WiFI Index shows a -5 point decrease indicates the engagement and recruitment of women in financial service has declined, reversing the hard fought gains made since the start of 2015.
- The gender pay gap has narrowed by comparison year on year, but with men still paid on average over 13% more than women in financial services.T
- he proportion of women securing a job offer is a significant increase YoY, but a slight decrease from the results from by comparison to the last 3 months.
