For the April 2017 BRUIN Financial Women in Financial Institutions Index (WiFI), data was comprised from more than 2,500 workers in financial services to record a WiFI Index score of 119.
The WiFI Index of April 2017 is the highest result since the index started and a positive indicator for women in financial services over the last year.
- WiFI Index shows a +8 point increase, indicating the engagement and recruitment of women in financial services has significantly improved in the last 12 months
- Men are still paid on average 20% more than women in financial services
- The proportion of women securing a job offer has decreased YoY, but the average salary increase achieved by comparison to men is over 20 %
