Escalate issues as and when they arise in a timely manner to the relevant department.
Look to act innovatively and improve processes and procedures where possible.
Creation and maintenance of assets including equities, fixed income, money market and derivatives.
Maintenance of pricing data including the monitoring of pricing feeds and researching pricing information.
Resolution of any queries relating to pricing and data.
Support the Head of Pricing and Data Management in Data Management Strategy across the organisation.
Collaboration with other departments to support and develop and the overall service to the business.
Participate in and or contribute to project work as required.
A successful candidate will most likely have a minimum of 4 years in Pricing and Data within an investment management firm.
Strong knowledge of all instruments types and familiarity with emerging markets and of valuation and pricing methodologies.
Ability to prioritise and multi-task in a time focused environment is essential.
Confident interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation.
Excellent problem solving, analytical and control skills with high level of attention to detail.
Vendor experience is essential, such as Bloomberg and Reuters as examples.
