Research Associate sought for a lead Analytics company based in the City of London.
Candidates will be educated to PhD or MSc level within a discipline such as Meteorology, Atmospheric Physics, Earth Science, Climate Science or similar.
It would be highly desirable to have specific knowledge on Wind Perils to fill a void within this specialist team. As an example this could be via dissertation papers, specific project or intern work.
An interest within Modelling Data combined with an understanding of the Insurance Markets is ideal.
Day to day work would involve a mix of both short and long term projects for their host of clients which include Insurers, Lloyd’s Syndicates, Brokers and other Insurance firms.
This is a highly interactive role. With many clients on your doorstep you will often be in meetings as well as discussing solutions and advice across the telephone and via email. With this in mind you will have a personable disposition with an ability to build relationships.
