I am working with a growing and well-respected Lloyd’s Broker to recruit an experienced Learning and Development Business Partner for their fantastic and well-regarded HR team. 

This is a newly created role due to the continual growth of their employee base.  The Broker in question has always worked to continually develop their employees and employee welfare.  Although the majority of the employee base is UK based this role will have a global reach. 

You as the L&D Business Partner will be responsible for ensuring the continual development of improving individual, team and overall group improvement of performance and quality. 

You and the wider HR team will be responsible for the continual brand development to ensure they remain an employer of choice in the Lloyd’s and London Insurance Market. 

You will be tasked with:

  • Designing and developing the global Learning and Development strategy
  • Driving a commercial and high-quality performance and wellbeing culture
  • Developing individuals with both personal and professional plans
  • Analysing and identifying L&D and training needs for the whole business
  • Partnering with senior management team and HR to assist with appropriate development plans
  • Managing external vendors and suppliers

 

About you:

  • Previous experience in a similar L&D role within the Insurance Market
  • Experience of delivering on projects such as Succession Planning, D&I and Leadership
  • Proven track record within a fast-paced well function Human Resources Department
