Serve as a SME across the enterprise on Operations and support stakeholders to resolve data-related issues.
Implement and manage data governance communities.
Drive the definition, prioritization and implementation of data initiatives
Define and report on key metrics related to quality of data.
Develop effective relationships with different departments across the organization.
Be the voice of data for incoming projects & changes impacting datasets
Consult on projects and providing data training and education to business and IT
Establish a culture of analytics and using new technologies to support business expansion
Comprehensive knowledge of data governance practices and processes
Strong analytics background
Experience working with business, operational data and technical teams to clearly document data governance and metadata requirements
Experienced in data governance approaches, practices and learnings in large financial organization
Experience in contributing to business requirement documentation
A successful candidate will most likely have project management experience and experience with Informatica data governance tools.
Significant operational data management experience within the financial services sector (preferably in the buy side)
