Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Data governance activities in order to improve governance, quality and value of core data assets.
  • Serve as the point of contact between the business and technology departments to ensure clarity in regards to data related requirements
  • Ensure the adherence to Organisation’s Data Governance Framework for data policies, standards and practices to meet overall business needs.
  • Lead the data remediation initiatives and be able to act innovatively to resolve issues that are escalated from the business.
  • Measure compliance with the Company’s Data Governance Framework.
  • Provide guidance in ongoing projects to ensure new or existing regulations are met.

Skills:

  • Coordinating business analysis tasks throughout the project lifecycle to agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Facilitate business & technology workshops for stakeholders of all levels.
  • Act as a product expert/owner by applying domain and/or end user knowledge.
  • Analyse and translate business requirements into system requirements and system design specifications including the definition of functional testing scenarios.
  • Strong experience in analytical and formatting skills including Excel, Basic SQL as examples.
  • An understanding of Data Governance & Data Management best practice in the industry.
