Conduct Risk Specialist – Corporate and Retail Banking – Competitive Salary + Industry Leading Benefits
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conduct Risk Specialist to join a leading financial institution in Manchester City Centre on a 12m FTC. You will have hands-on responsibility for the design, build, pilot and delivery of the Risk Assurance Framework.
You will be working directly with the Conduct Risk Manager, reporting to the Head of Operational Risk and should already possess Conduct Risk knowledge and skills, ensuring that they can contribute to the delivery of the teams objectives.
The overall role of the analyst is to support the development of the framework and to conduct a number of assurance work streams in detail to understand key areas of concern or customer detriment from which an action plan or remediation process should be implemented. The individual will gain exposure to the UK Bank, by proactively working across the Regional Banks and UKHO departments to help ensure we deliver positive outcomes for our customers. An additional key area of focus will be on ensuring the regulators principles of customer interest are applied and embedded across the business.
ln this role, you will be working with a growing and experienced risk management team, responsible for producing high quality analytical reporting, advice and guidance on the management of conduct risk to ensure that the business complies with the relevant policies, frameworks and regulatory expectations.
