Tour de City

On 25th September a team from BRUIN Financial are taking part in Tour De City, as part of City Giving Day, The Lord Mayor’s charitable fundraising event for the City of London.

City Giving Day is an annual initiative run by the Lord Mayor’s Appeal Charity. Launched in 2015 it was created as a platform for companies across London to celebrate and showcase their charitable work. Championed by successive Lord Mayors of the City of London this event has gone from strength to strength with a record 220 companies taking part this year. From static cycle challenges and treasure hunts to charity fairs and mentoring, on this day, thousands of employees will be engaged and hundreds of charities will benefit.

What is Tour de City?

Tour De City is an inter-company static bike challenge held in Paternoster Square just by St Paul’s Cathedral. BRUIN has submitted 3 teams with the aim of raising £1,500.

Our cyclists will have 40 minutes to demonstrate their pedal power as they compet for a place on the podium in 4 categories, including best results for a Consulting firm.

Funds raised will go towards finding solutions to some of London’s most pressing societal issues with the aim of helping one million people thrive.

  • Place2Be will develop and run a transformational mental health programme in 180 primary schools in London.
  • OnSide Youth Zones will build five state-of-the-art youth facilities in London and the South East for the capital’s young people.
  • Samaritans will develop a revolutionary online wellbeing programme for the City workforce.
