Race Review: J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge 2017
This year, BRUIN entered a team of 14 into the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge, a 5.6km (3.5 mile) race through Battersea Park for companies within the business and public sectors.
Sporting FISER Group branded tees (the parent company of BRUIN), the team made their way from the office to join the thousands of other City workers at the start point. And despite some mixed levels of enthusiasm (and trepidation!), everyone made it round the course in great time, finishing up with some well deserved post run drinks!
The JP Morgan Corporate challenge is unique in that there are a series of races throughout the world, in which employers in each host city can enter a team to promote health and fitness in the workplace.
Places are filled quickly and the 31st running of the event over 2 nights in July drew a total of 28,674 entrants from 733 companies, the sixth consecutive year the Corporate Challenge achieved a full capacity of entrants.
This year’s charity beneficiary is Cancer Research UK and a donation was made on behalf of all participators.
