The Metropolitan Police Commissioner’s ‘Give a gift’ Campaign 2014
This year the Commission has launched a ‘Give a gift’ campaign, which is aiming to ensure that over 250 local children who are in care, receive a special gift at Christmas. Instead of our traditional Christmas tree, BRUIN Financial have opted to donate the money we would normally spend, to give a present to a child in care in Croydon.
Each team across the business has selected a gift for children aged from just one week to 14 years old, who are currently being cared for by foster parents or are in residential care homes. The presents will then be distributed to the children anonymously when they are specially invited to visit Santa’s Grotto in the run-up to Christmas.
Croydon Police’s Borough Commander, Andy Tarrant said: “Unfortunately there are some under-privileged children in Croydon who are a little less fortunate than others.
