We are delighted to have received a Gold Award from the City of London for our contribution to the environment, sustainability and CSR!
The awards lunch was held at The Mansion House and are presented by Alan Yarrow, Mayor of the City of London. Alongside BRUIN, the awards recognised the work of other top-performing companies such as Investec, BNY Mellon, Jones Lang Lasalle and Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi.
Chosen from over 1650 sites across the City of London that range from small organisations to large multinational companies, the winners represent best practice in waste minimisation, reuse and recycling initiatives. Awards are based on site visits by inspectors and documentary evidence submitted by entrants.
Launched in 1994, the Clean City Awards Scheme aims to develop partnerships with all types of City businesses, not only raising the profile of responsible waste management and encouraging businesses to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, but also recognising and rewarding good practice.
Gold Awards are given to those sites that meet and exceed all the requirements of the Scheme by reducing, reusing and recycling their waste and have taken a proactive role in the management of their waste during 2014. Gold companies are seen to be committed to maintaining and improving their business’s contribution to a sustainable City.
Further information on this year’s winners will be listed on the Awards website shortly.
