In a new feature Blog series, we ask some of our employees 5 questions all about their work life, their personal life and everything inbetween.
This week’s Q&A is with Ellen Mulvey, Director & Head of Change at BRUIN, who has given her insight into some of life’s most important questions!
How long have you been with BRUIN and what’s making you want to stay?
I’ve been here from the beginning , so nearly 10 years. The culture that we have created and the people that I work with make my job very enjoyable. I can’t say I’ve ever experienced a company like it.
When are you at your happiest?
When I am travelling the world. I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to take a 6 month paid sabbatical once I had been at BRUIN for 5 years, I managed to travel the world visiting 12 countries.
What is something that you would be able to teach others?
Apart from 17 years worth of recruitment knowledge, I would say how to deal with the highs and lows of recruitment. Its not always easy but don’t give up!
Can you name a habit that you try and live by, and why?
For me its exercise, running being the main habit/stress release. I try and exercise before work so I’m more productive throughout the day. Wellbeing is key in this role, so its important that you choose what works for you.
The classic – 3 dinner party guests and why?
David Beckham, Nelson Mandela and Pink.. A very mixed bunch but hey why not!
